Live and personalized Training

Due to the nature of the Transmode portfolio, the courses are very condensed and time efficient. By using an efficient mix of theoretical and practical sessions, the customers leave the training not only with overall understanding of optical networking but also with valuable hands on experience, ready to take on responsibility for the live network.

The courses cover hardware and management elements of the Transmode portfolio and all associated installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and management related topics.

Prerequisites and Audience

There are three categories of courses aimed at different groups of students:

Overview courses:
Designed for students that would like to get a basic understanding of a Transmode product platform. From a pre requisite perspective, general transmission knowledge is an advantage for the student.

TM product overview

Product and Network Management courses:
Designed for those students who require a more detailed knowledge of Transmode xWDM systems including amplifiers and who possesses a prior knowledge of SDH, IP and xWDM.

TM-series Installation and Configuration for Field Technicians
TS-Series Product Training
Operation and Maintenance for Network Operation Centre Staff, TM-Series and TNM

Advanced level courses:
Aimed for students who would like to get in-depth knowledge within a specific field of expertise. In order to get most out of these courses, the students should have previously participated in the relevant Product/Network Management course.

Network Design Training
TM-Series Layer 2 Configuration, Provisioning, Operation and Maintenance
