Transmode and Canadian based systems integrator SAK Data, one of our resellers, have announced that Ontera, a regional carrier in Canada has deployed Transmode's WDM solution to significantly boost its network capacity. Ontera provides telecommunications and Internet services to customers throughout Northern Ontario and needed to increase the capacity of its existing network. The network supports a population of 550,000 people over a vast service area, covering approximately the same size as England and Scotland combined.
