| Transmode appoints telecoms industry expert Torbjörn Nilsson as new board member |

STOCKHOLM, Sweden – August 25, 2010 – Transmode, a leading provider of optical networking solutions, today announced that the internationally recognized telecoms industry expert, Mr. Torbjörn Nilsson, has been appointed as a new board member.
He has had several senior positions at Ericsson and the most recent was as Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer as well as member of Ericsson’s Corporate Group Management Team (SVP) for about 10 years (between 1998 and 2007). His other responsibilities included: managing Ericsson’s product portfolio (standards and intellectual property rights); marketing (the Ericsson brand); strategy (Mergers & Acquisitions); business development and innovation (venture capital); and public affairs. In that role, he has been very active in the international standardization and regulatory work and is a well known and respected speaker and industry professional.

Since 2007, Torbjörn Nilsson has been Founder and President of his own company TJN MediaCom, as well as an Executive Adviser across the convergent Communications / Internet / Media industries. He is also active in several company boards in Sweden.
